A Look Inside Our Huizhou Base

What does a visit to JIMICQ in Huizhou actually look like?

It usually starts at the entrance of the industrial park, where we meet our guests and walk them into the building.

After taking the elevator up, they first arrive at our reception area. There is no large showroom here. Instead, they soon see our product wall, with different wireless communication products we have developed over the years.

From there, most visits quickly become less formal.

We sit down in the office and start talking about products, samples, orders, or a new project.

Sales and R&D Are Just a Few Steps Away

One thing that makes our Huizhou base convenient is that our sales and R&D offices are on the same floor.

A question from a customer does not always need to wait for another meeting.

If a sales colleague needs to confirm something with an engineer, they can simply walk over and discuss it.

Our hardware and software R&D teams, as well as the product testing team, are also on the same floor.

So when a customer wants to look at a sample, ask about a technical detail, or discuss a possible modification, the relevant team can usually join the conversation directly.

Sometimes, the fastest way to answer a question is simply to pick up the product and look at it together.

Samples, PCBs and Small Parts Are Part of the Everyday Scene

If you walk into our R&D office, you are likely to see quite a few product samples and PCBA boards on the desks.

There are also different small components and parts used for assembly and testing.

For someone visiting for the first time, it may look a little different from a typical office.

For our engineers, it is simply part of the working day.

A sample may be opened, tested, assembled again, or compared with an earlier version. The testing team may be checking a product while another project is being discussed nearby.

This is what a normal working environment looks like for us.

The Factory Is Just Downstairs

Our SMT factory is in the same building.

That makes the connection between development and manufacturing much more direct.

For projects that require closer production follow-up, our project managers can go directly to the production line and follow the process.

Sales colleagues can also go to the line when they need product photos or videos, or when a customer wants to see how an order is being produced.

And when customers visit us, they can see the factory themselves if they would like to take a closer look.

We have customers coming to our industrial park almost every month to discuss specific products and projects with our team.

Sometimes, a Sample Tells Us More Than a Drawing

Product development does not always go exactly as planned.

This happens particularly with projects involving structural or appearance changes.

A design may look fine during the initial stage, but after the sample comes back, our structural engineer may assemble it again and discover a detail that needs to be adjusted.

The sample is then modified, checked again, and discussed with the customer before moving forward.

It is a fairly ordinary part of our work, but it is also one of the reasons we keep the development and manufacturing teams close to each other.

Testing Happens Along the Way

Our testing team is also part of this everyday process.

Products are tested throughout development and production rather than simply being looked at once at the very end.

A device can be tested, adjusted, and tested again as a project moves forward.

Having the testing team, R&D, sales, and manufacturing close to each other makes these conversations much easier.

This Is Our Huizhou Base

There is no complicated tour route here.

A customer may come in to discuss an order and end up looking at a sample.

A question about a product may turn into a quick conversation with an engineer.

A project manager may head downstairs to the production line.

A sample may return to the R&D desk for another round of testing.

And on another day, a customer may simply come in to talk about what we should work on next.

This is what our Huizhou base looks like in everyday work — R&D, sales, testing, and manufacturing working within a few steps of each other.

It is also where many JIMICQ products move from an idea on a desk to something that can be made, tested, and delivered.
